I stopped taking my diazepam (only 10mg per day, 5 in the morning 5 in the evening) and started taking 200mg L-Theanine in the morning and evening (400mg per day total), 320mg Magnesium Glycinate in the evening.
I heard of many people enjoying Ashwagandha but I personally found it make me feel groggy even at the lower end (300mg).
I’m a counselor (LPC) and manager at a local mental health authority. I’m one of the most anxious people I know at work. My sx: heart begins to pump like crazy, palms sweat, cannot think clearly, have trouble speaking, thoughts race. I’ve been like this my whole adult life. I’ve been to counseling, use coping skills galore daily, tried supplements. Magnesium in particular I’ve taken for Crohn’s and arthritis for 30 years. It does not help anxiety lol. Any particular brand or specific supplement you recommend?
